Board games
The most popular event is the famous BwB or Biweekly board games. At offline events there is a boardgame night every second week where everyone brings their own games. Of course there are also a number of games which WSG Paragon owns. The BwB starts at 7 pm, in which some members usually eat something in advance at campus plaza. All board games are welcome! The evening usually ends with a game of werewolves.
Pub quiz
Test your knowledge of Games, Paragon and general facts in a fun pub quiz! Offline this is organized with pizza and beer, Online it is streamed with a chance for food delivery! No matter how well you do, it is always a great success. The best team also gets a small prize.
Smash tournaments
As mentioned at the games section, a smash tournament is organized once a month, pandemic or not. Offline it is organized in the forum, online via discord. Regardless of the location, you spend all day smashing against other people. There are many members with different skill levels so you never have to play against people who completely destroy you. This event is always organized on weekends.
Archery Tag
Unleash your inner Katniss in archery tag! It's very similar to paintball but, you can probably guess, with a bow. It is a bit of a bike ride, all the way to the Blaauwe Kamer, but it is worth it. We gather somewhere and then cycle together, so that everyone arrives on time. This event is always a great success and definitely worth participating!
Golf with your friends
Golf with your friends is not a game that is played every day, but it is a frequent event that is very popular. Usually we sit in the discord with about 10 people and have a very pleasant evening. Whether your goal is to get a hole in one or to make sure no one gets into the hole, they are both great options for a fun night!
Movie night
Together in the forum or together in discord. With a snack and good company you always have a great evening. A few days in advance there will be a poll in the WhatsApp or signal group that decides which film we will watch. Be prepared for lame comments during the movie.
Creativity
A new category where everyone can release their inner artist. The discord is in any case a location where you can always share your creations with the association. These type of events are e.g. Bob Ross recreations (on canvas or on paint) and Origami folding. One thing about gamers is that they are very try-hard, so everyone takes it seriously too. Sometimes there are even great prizes to be won for the best art.
Party
Offline in the bunker with music, online via discord with a paid drink. Although there is a difference, it is always nice to be able to talk to people! Nowadays drinks are also organized online after events. So if you don't feel like going to an event, but still want to talk to people, you can come to the drinks afterward.
Mario Night
Mario night is a lot of fun at the forum. Everyone brings their switch or old consoles and then we play mario oriented nintendo games. There are several variations on this. There has been a mario party night or just any games you want to play. (Usually smash is smuggled here as well).
BBQ
In case of nice weather we will light a fire at the forum and have a barbecue together. Eating and drinking is of course arranged by the association, the only thing you have to do is show up in a good mood. Always a pleasant evening guaranteed.
